The Wild Creative Online Community
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in The Wild Creative online membership community (“the Community”), hosted on Discord and facilitated by Sally Golightly (“Facilitator”/”I”/”me”/”my”).
By joining the Community, you (“Member”/”you”/”your”) agree to these Terms.
1. Membership & Payment
- Membership is paid on a monthly basis.
- Your membership grants you access to The Wild Creative Discord community, in person and online events, resources, and discussions.
- You may cancel your membership at any time by emailing mail@sallygolightly.co.uk.
- Your access to the community will continue through to the end of the month in which your last payment falls and will be removed at the end of the following month.
- No partial refunds are issued for unused time within the billing period.
2. Facilitator Commitments
As the facilitator, I agree to:
- Hold space with care, creativity, and professionalism.
- Offer regular prompts, resources, and discussions.
- Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and confidential environment.
- Moderate the group as needed to ensure it is a safer space and on that promotes cohesion.
3. Participant Expectations
By joining, you agree to:
- Engage respectfully and compassionately with other members.
- Keep all shared stories, personal reflections, and creative work confidential within the group.
- Respect the boundaries and lived experiences of others.
- Follow Discord community guidelines and refrain from disruptive, discriminatory, or harmful behaviour.
- Not promote goods or services to other members of the community or create any side challenges or groups with members of the community.
- No direct messaging of members in the community unless directly invited.
Failure to follow these expectations may result in removal from the community without refund.
4. Copyright & Intellectual Property
- All resources, prompts, materials, and content shared by the facilitator or other members within the Community are for personal use only.
- No material may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used outside of the group without explicit written permission.
- Your own creative work remains your intellectual property, but by sharing it within the Community, you give permission for it to be witnessed and responded to in the group setting.
5. Privacy & Confidentiality
- Members are expected to maintain the confidentiality of what is shared within the Community.
- Personal information (names, stories, artwork, etc.) shared in the group must not be disclosed outside of the group under any circumstances.
- The Discord platform has its own privacy terms; members are responsible for managing their own settings accordingly.
6. Zoom Recordings
- Some parts of the Zoom sessions may be recorded for the benefit of members who cannot attend live.
- Recordings will be shared only within the Community and must not be downloaded, shared, or distributed outside the group.
- If you do not wish to be recorded, you are welcome to keep your camera and microphone off.
- Any personal or sensitive sharing in recorded sessions will be treated with care and discretion, and breakout rooms will never be recorded.
7. Disclaimers
- This Community is a creative and supportive space, not a therapy group or substitute for mental health support.
- The facilitator does not provide medical, psychological, or legal advice.
- Participation is at your own discretion and responsibility.
8. Changes to Terms
- These Terms may be updated from time to time. Members will be notified of any significant changes.
- Continued participation in the Community after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Data Protection & GDPR Compliance
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), I am committed to protecting your personal data and your privacy.
By joining the Community, you agree that:
- I may collect and store personal information such as your name, email address, and payment details for the purposes of administering the Community, processing payments, and communicating with you about your membership.
- Your data will never be sold or shared with third parties, except where required for processing (e.g. payment processors or email platforms), and always in accordance with GDPR.
- You have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal data at any time.
- You may unsubscribe from community communications or cancel your membership at any time by emailing mail@sallygolightly.co.uk.
All data is stored securely, and reasonable steps are taken to protect it from unauthorised access, misuse, or loss.
